Jeff & Jennifer Wedding at Linden Garden
Couldn’t be more pleased than to have worked alongside this amazing Saskatchewan couple-fellow Roughrider fans. Jennifer was an absolutely stunning bride and she gave me permission to ‘go to town’ on my vintage wedding decor. Kevin Trowbridge was their photographer and I can’t say enough good things about the creativity, professionalism and the quality of work Kevin and his wife (who acts as his second shooter) offer. These are photos taken by Kevin Trowbridge Photography. Ask me in person what I think about their photography and you will have me raving about them for hours. The gorgeous venue was at Linden Gardens in Kaleden, BC. Thank you Jenn and Jeff for having Vintage Origami be part of your special day.
Jennifer’s mom made these adorable fans as party favours to be used during the outdoor ceremony. I displayed them in this set of fabulous vintage Amelia Earhart luggage. As a surprise treat for my bride I made a custom design logo with a banner theme for Jeff and Jennifer. Guests were able to write sweet notes to the bride and groom by typing their well wishes on the cards.
Thank you Jennifer for the kind words:
Thank you Yuriko for making our wedding absolutely perfect. You went over and above anything I could have ever imagined. You are truly talented and a wonderful person to work with. You not only helped me decorate my wedding, you gave me tips on where to get candy and how to display my flowers. I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for being so amazing. I was truly blessed to have you as part of my wedding.
Testimonial as featured on, “Style Me Pretty” blog:
When we were introduced to Yuriko Larson of Vintage Origami through a mutual friend, we had heard that she was just starting her business of decorating. We came back full of smiles after a wonderful photo session with our photographer, Kevin Trowbridge (Whom we found and came to our rescue a mere 9 days prior to our wedding!). Yuriko and her husband Eric, in a matter of hours, transformed the Linden Gardens cafe into a fun, vintage themed wedding reception and left us doubting the whole “just starting out thing.” From a typewriter for our guests to write notes to us, to a wooden cash register spewing out candy, she wowed us and our guests through and through. I will let Kevin’s beautiful pictures speak for themselves. We can’t express how grateful we are to the people that made our wedding day beautiful. It may come off as cliche and biased for a bride and groom to describe their wedding day as perfect, but for lack of a better word, our day was nothing short of that. Perfect!
