Ash & Luc – Eldorado Wedding photographed by Barnett Photography
Where do I even begin with this wedding. Besides being in love with this beautiful couple I was totally smitten with the brides colour theme and vision. Ashley is a legit and true to the bone believer in all things vintage. She walks the walk and talks the talk so I was excited to be able to use my vintage china, lace table overlays, antique milk glass and antique radio and library cabinet for this wedding. From beginning to end I tried to incorporate vintage personalized touches so because Ashley is a musician I added two beautiful gramophones to the decor. The flowers…oh the flowers… were stunning and created by the talented Christina at Classic Creations Floral Design. I was in LOVE! Christina always laughs that every time I see the florals she creates that the recent ones are my favourite (because they always are), but I think I’ll always come back to this wedding in my mind and wish it was MY actual wedding. I suppose this makes it my most favourite floral arrangement based on floral variety and the colours. I used my vintage dresser with old books, teacups and milk glass for the Benvoulin church ceremony and had handmade music book flowers added down each aisle as decor. For the guest signing the couple used old records that were signed by guests and the wedding favours were personalized cd’s of their favourite song list. I was delighted to use the pastry by Sandrine for the dessert table. Have you ever seen anything so wonderful as that tower of cream puffs and those delicate and pretty macaroons? Just stunning. To end off the night the wedding guests enjoyed their tea and coffee in my pretty vintage tea cups. This could be likely my most favourite wedding from the summer of 2013. Swoon………..
